Energy for the Nation, Benefits for the Community
We implement social programs focusing on community capacity building, local economic empowerment, and sustainable development around our operational areas.
Occupational Health
The objective of the occupational health program is to establish an optimal occupational health system that maximizes work productivity and comprehensively enhances the company’s health management framework. This is achieved by identifying health hazards across all operational areas to drive continuous improvement and sustain risk reduction. Implementing this occupational health program further reinforces and advances the company’s health vision and mission.
Safe Workplace
PGN Saka recognizes that the Company’s business operations carry potential security risks stemming from threats, challenges, obstacles, disruptions, and crime within and around the workplace. Consequently, PGN Saka fosters complete awareness across all levels of the organization regarding safe and secure operations.
PGN Saka implements Security Risk Assessments and Security Stakeholder Mapping to build a reliable security management system and enhance security configurations. This implementation applies across all operational areas, both onshore and offshore, as well as to PGN Saka’s expansion territories. Additionally, PGN Saka maintains 24-hour readiness and conducts regular security patrols to safeguard employees, operational activities, mobile and immobile physical assets, and national vital object areas.
Occupational Safety as a Priority
PGN Saka operates in the upstream oil and gas sector, which carries an inherently high risk of occupational accidents due to operational complexity and the involvement of multiple contractors. Accordingly, PGN Saka consistently enforces HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) and security programs across all operational areas to ensure safe, smooth, and optimal performance.
The implementation of an effective, efficient, and reliable HSE and Security Management System serves as a vital component in controlling operational risks and fulfilling workplace safety, security, and environmental protection obligations based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) framework.
As a demonstration of this ongoing commitment, since 2020, PGN Saka’s subsidiary, Saka Indonesia Pangkah Limited (SIPL), has maintained ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications issued by an international certification body. This achievement underscores PGN Saka’s dedication to continuously improving HSE performance and environmental stewardship, aligning with its vision to become a leading independent oil and gas exploration and production company in Indonesia.
