PT Saka Energi Indonesia (PGN Saka), which is an affiliate of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara, Tbk (PGN) Subholding Gas Pertamina, won the Best Professional Oral Presentation award in the Facilities Operation Improvement category at the 49th Indonesian Petroleum Association Convention and Exhibition (IPA Convex 2025) with the theme “Delivering Growth with Energy Resilience in Lower Carbon Environment” held on May 20 – 22, 2025 at ICE BSD, Tangerang.
The opening of IPA Convex 2025 was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia – Prabowo Subianto and witnessed by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources – Bahlil Lahadalia, Head of SKK Migas – Djoko Siswanto, President of IPA Convex 2025 – Carol J. Gall, Senior Advisor in Energy – Purnomo Yusgiantoro, and was also attended by the President Commissioner of Pertamina – Mochamad Iriawan, President Director of Pertamina – Simon Aloysius Mantiri, as well as the management line-up of PGN Saka, namely President Director – Medy Kurniawan, Director of Operations – Achmad Agus Miftakhurroman, Director of Finance and Business Support – Jimmy Lambey, and Commissioner – M. Sulhan Fauzi.
In his speech, Prabowo emphasized the importance of energy independence as part of the grand agenda of national development through continuous efforts to achieve national energy self-sufficiency.
“We must not depend on other nations in terms of energy. We must be self-reliant, and the oil and gas industry is an important part of our grand strategy to achieve energy independence,” Prabowo emphasized.
