Saka Energi Indonesia (PGN Saka), an affiliate of PGN Subholding Gas Pertamina, successfully won 3rd place in the Revenue Generation category at the BUMN Technology Adaptation Award during the 2024 BUMN Digital Forum Summit for its iSquare Digital Twin Initiative innovation, representing the Pertamina Group. This event was held at the Ballroom of Hotel Mulia Senayan on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Yudi Syahnur, IT Specialist – Information Management System, attended as the representative of PGN Saka and presented the technological innovation that has been implemented at Saka Indonesia Pangkah Limited.
This award was presented by Tedi Bharata as Deputy for Human Resources, Technology, and Information of the Ministry of BUMN to Yoke Susatyo as SVP Enterprise IT of Pertamina as the representative of Pertamina. The iSquare Digital Twin Initiative is a technology for visualizing and collecting real-time data through remote monitoring. This technology is also a digital replica of PGN Saka’s oil and gas production facilities that can simplify the oil and gas production process.
“Pertamina submitted 10 digital initiatives from various Subholdings. After going through a selection process by the board of judges, PGN Saka’s iSquare Digital Twin from the Gas Subholding was selected as the sole representative of the Pertamina Group and was declared to be among the 15 initiatives that advanced to the final round from all BUMNs,” said Adrianto Nafis, IT & Data Management Manager of PGN Saka.
The main objective of this year’s FORDIGI Summit is to learn and adopt new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), and to assist industry players in facing future challenges. The iSquare Digital Twin technology provides added value, especially in terms of work effectiveness and efficiency, by minimizing the possibility of rework errors, supporting better HSSE performance, and reducing the frequency of non-urgent field visits. Not only that, the technology implemented at PGN Saka also drives Pertamina to streamline operational aspects as well as engineering platforms in upstream oil and gas business processes.
