JAKARTA, November 13, 2025 – Saka Energi Indonesia (SAKA), as part of Pertamina’s Gas Subholding, has once again recorded achievements in the upstream oil and gas sector by winning the Patra Nirbhaya Karya Madya award through its subsidiary entity Saka Energi Muriah Limited. This award was presented at the 2025 Oil and Gas Safety Communication Forum organized by the Directorate General of Oil and Gas at the Lemigas Building, Jakarta. The forum also served as part of the guidance and supervision for oil and gas safety implementation, as well as a form of appreciation for business entities that have successfully embedded safety into their operations.
SAKA has once again proven its commitment and consistency in the safety field. This year, SAKA received recognition for achieving 898,492 safe work hours in upstream oil and gas business activities for exploitation operations, calculated from June 17, 2020, to April 30, 2025. This achievement complements SAKA’s track record, having previously won two Patra Nirbhaya Karya Pratama and one Patra Nirbhaya Karya Madya awards.
The award was handed over directly to Budi Setiyawan as Muriah Production Manager, representing the company. SAKA also expressed appreciation to the entire team that contributed and played an active role in ensuring safety remains the top priority in every operational activity. Aside from SAKA, several other Gas Subholding representatives also received awards on that occasion.
For information, the Oil and Gas Safety Award consists of three main categories: Patra Karya Raksa, Patra Prakarsa, and Patra Nirbhaya Karya, with four award levels for the Patra Nirbhaya Karya category, namely Utama Adinugraha, Karya Utama, Karya Madya, and Karya Pratama. The Patra Nirbhaya Karya Award is presented to KKKS and Oil and Gas Business License Holders for the category of zero lost work hours resulting from accidents within a specific period.
“This achievement is a reflection of the discipline and care of all SAKA Officers in applying safety standards. We will continue to maintain this safety culture and take responsibility across all operational activities,” said Budi.
