PT SAKA Energi Indonesia (SAKA) has once again received appreciation for its consistency in implementing Community Development Programs (PPM). Two SAKA business entities, namely Saka Energi Muriah Limited (SEML) and Saka Indonesia Pangkah Limited (SIPL), each won awards from academic institutions and local governments. These awards emphasize SAKA’s role as a company committed to environmental preservation, social responsibility, and community empowerment within its operational areas.

On November 11, 2025, SEML successfully won 2nd Place in the Industry Impacting Environmental Preservation category at the UNNES Innovation Award 2025. The award was received directly by Purwanto Nugroho, Stakeholder Relation Manager of SAKA. At the same event, two Local Heroes fostered by SEML, namely Ir. Sukarno from Tluwuk Village and Minannur Rohman from Karangharjo Village, were also awarded as Most Innovative Village Figures, recognizing their contributions to village development.

Meanwhile, on November 17, 2025, SIPL received a certificate of appreciation as The Most Committed Corporate to Economic and Community Empowerment, Infrastructure, Environment, Health, and Education. The award was presented directly by Fandi Akhmad Yani as the Regent of Gresik during the Gresik Regency Musrenbang and CSR Award 2025 event series, which carried the theme “CSR Innovation Program for Sustainable Development Growth”. The event also discussed development priorities for the upcoming fiscal year, including Village RKP proposals and other strategic programs that are the focus of the Gresik Regency Government.

“This award reflects SAKA’s consistency in carrying out environmental and social responsibilities in a measurable and continuous manner. We will continue to ensure that every program provides direct benefits to the environment and the community,” said Purwanto Nugroho, Stakeholder Relations Manager of SAKA.

This award serves as a form of appreciation for SAKA’s collaboration and commitment alongside stakeholders in delivering value and impacts directly felt by the local community. SAKA will continue to make positive contributions by executing program commitments that align closely with community needs, maintaining harmony within operational areas, and strengthening its license to operate as part of its responsibility to deliver good energy for the nation.
