PT Saka Energi Indonesia (SAKA), as an upstream oil and gas company and part of Pertamina’s Gas Subholding, has once again recorded a proud achievement in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS/K3). Through its entity, Saka Indonesia Pangkah Limited (SIPL), SAKA successfully won two awards at once in the 2026 WSO Indonesia Safety Culture Award (WISCA) event organized by the World Safety Organization Indonesia.
In the event, SAKA was awarded as a “Concerned Company” as well as achieving the “5 Star Platinum” category, which is the highest level in the generative-level OHS culture maturity assessment program for the third time since 2024. The awards were presented directly to Achmad Agus Miftakhurrohman as Operations Director of SAKA and General Manager of SIPL in an event held at Hotel Bidakara Jakarta on Friday (May 8, 2026).
“This achievement is the result of the commitment and consistency of all SAKA Officers in implementing HSSE across every operational activity. For us, safety is not just a priority, but has become a culture that we continuously strengthen,” welcomed Intan Fauzi as President Director of SAKA.
This award was achieved after going through a rigorous HSSE document verification process, including interview stages and presentations of flagship Safety Culture programs by SAKA’s Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Team to the verification team from WSO Indonesia. On this occasion, SAKA received the “Concerned Company” award for the first time, presented to companies demonstrating high concern in building an OHS culture in the workplace. This achievement stands as tangible proof of the company’s commitment to implementing HSSE aspects consistently and sustainably.
“For SAKA, HSSE is a shared responsibility. This award serves as motivation for us to continue actively contributing to creating a consistent and impactful safety culture, both internally and at the upstream oil and gas industry level,” added Achmad Agus.
This success also marks SAKA’s consistency in winning WISCA awards for five consecutive years since 2022. This reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to build and maintain an occupational safety culture as an integral part of operational performance.
